Il n'est pas trop tard...

It's never too late to be who you want to be....

Wood pillow

How cool is this wood pillow? The pillow is an imitation of a cottonwood tree log bitten down by beavers. The graphics of this pillow are knitted, instead of printed, in five different colors. The design is by chicsindesigndotcom and is sold in the etsy shop where there are more sizes to order.

How amazing could this be for a child to play with....

I am loving the products of  CONFETTISYSTEM. They create interactive objects transforming simple materials such as tissue paper, cardboard and silk. CONFETTISYSTEM is Nicholas Andersen and Julie Ho, a duo working as artists, stylists and designers. A friendship born from their shared love of communal celebration and craft-making has brought them together to create a new system.

The products they create can be bought in their online shop. Loving the twist necklace made of silk charmeuse and leather and the tassel garlands made of tissue paper and mylar. They are also involved in various projects, so take a look at their website and view their beautiful creations.

Marc Johns has been drawing since he was tiny. He's not tiny anymore, but he's not exactly big either.
His drawings are fillen with dry wit and humour. His drawings are simply but yet so attractive....Love his style and have put some on my inspiration wall to look at and smile.

You can follow Marc on Twitter, Flickr and Facebook and there is a awesome book with his drawing which you can order. Hope you enjoy his drawings as I do.

Black & white home

This is the summer home of graphic designer pair Henrik and Susanna. The house is full of black & white, wich I love. And as you can and white can be so amazing and doesn't have to be dull at all. Simple and just beautiful....

It's a weightless and portable bag that follows you everywhere, inside the house, outside on the terrace, the balcony or in the garden. Bacsac suits all environments.

Escape to Cornwall's luxury eco hotel, the Scarlet Hotel. A beautiful 37 bedroom hotel built to the highest eco standards with locally sourced food and the best Ayurvedic inspired spa you can imagine.

They offer 5 different room types (Just Right, Generous, Unique, Spacious, Indulgent), each with it's own individual outside space. The hotel blends with the local environment and the cliff-top location and view construct a feeling of space and light.

I haven't been in this hotel...but would love to be there sometime. Can you imagine yourself being in a spa like this and being surrounded by all this beauty and beautiful design? Look at the website for more information and pictures of the Scarlet Hotel.

blogspotting: Petite Passport

Such a great blog to share with case you haven't already discovered it:)
Petite Passport is your place to search for the right hotspots when you are traveling or visiting a cool place in your own country. Petite Passport is the blog of Pauline Egg and this is what she says about her blog and herself

I just love, love, love hotspots. Not the ones you will find in every guidebook, but the more special ones. Shame on me, but I don’t go to a restaurant because the food is superb (well that’s a nice extra) but because of the interior. I like to sit on a Verner Panton chair or eat under a Tom Dixon lightbulb. On this blog I hope to collect all the nicest (design) places on earth. To get you, and myself, motivated to travel the world!

Just visit her place and get's really fun!
