Yesterday I posted a picture of our kitchen on the April & May facebook page with the question if I should paint the back wall of our kitchen area black (dark)... I have been doubting about this for a while now. It is so much easier to advice other people then sometimes deciding what to do in your own home.
I was overwhelmed with reactions and most of them where saying really to do it, it would give more depth, make it pop out more...and so much more.
I special thanks to Lise from Fjellby who gave me these pictures made by Line Klein, to be inspired. I really love them and think the dark wall looks great behind all the white.
So my mind is now saying...give it a try. But also love the white simplicity so after finishing some other home projects I am now for a 75% thinking YES.

Ik zou de muur niet zwart verven, eerder donkergrijs. Dat oogt wat zachter en dan is het contrast niet te groot. Succes!

Ohh ik vind het prachtig, die witte kastjes en donkere muren!
We are thinking of de-doing our kitchen and white cabinets are at the top of our list. I just love these.
This pics are gorgeous! You could paint it in a blackboard paint! What do you think? I may do the same at home actually..
