100% love for this room with plywood walls. There is something about plywood that I always love when I see it in homes and spaces.

Maybe it is everything combined together...wood, texture, clean look yet warm and inviting and a little bit of that scandinavian feeling.

Pure is the name of this bed designed by Trecompany. Simple and pure without too much unnecessary details and a beautiful wood structure.  The bed can be customized to fit your personal style by choosing your own color (standard available in white and anthracite) for the frame and a headboard in your choice of fabric of color.

Just loving these pictures by Rinne Allen. Her work is a true source of inspiration. Loving the whole sphere, textures and colors....

Rinne Allen is a photographer living in Athens. Working in both color and black & white, she photographs often as a way to remember the things she sees and experiences. She finds that beauty is in a detail, or in a movement or sway of something, and that it can be found all around us if we make the effort to look.

Loving these lights by Renate Vos for Serax. The lights are made out of an material experiment of concrete and silicone rubber. Through the use of these materials the lamp gives a warm light that contrasts with the clear appearance.

Love the use of these contrasting materials and how beautiful they work together.

Just a last picture of our bedroom as it is now at home. Tomorrow it will change when the new bed arrives, can't wait and hope it will be beautiful.

After Mama Shelter in Paris there is another place to enjoy this great concept...Mama Shelter Marseille, opened April 2012. And yes of course with the same stunning and beautiful interior as we know from Mama Shelter Paris. The new location is ideal for exploring the city, there is a Mama beach, boat trips and in the late afternoon you can enjoy the cocktail bar at the Mama shelter.

Last saturday I went to the 2nd Meet the Blogger event in Amsterdam. It was again a great day filled with lots of inspiring talks and people. Frida from Trendenser you really are a true inspiration. Also for the first time there was the VTwonen Meet the Blogger Award. And I am so proud to tell you that a got a special mention/runner up award. I am so happy and proud to receive it and of course want to thank all of you who voted for me. 

Congrats to Irene from Bloesem for winning the award, well-deserved!

I will of course continue blogging, making plans for the future to improve it and to inspire you.
