Let the light in!

30.1.13

Spring is getting closer, days are getting longer, the sunshine is back in our home. We just love the natural light in the pictures above. It gives such a good atmosphere. This together with the light wood that we love- stunning!

The first image shows the Sun Tunnel by architect and designer Ross Lovegrove. Due tight spaces or close neighbors many of us are stuck with artificial light. Day light company, VELUX® solved this problem with their product, the Lovegrove Chandelier, wich can be installed anywhere and is powered by the sun.

The last photo's are the Sunlighthouse of VELUX wich is build in 2010 in Austria. The Sunlighthouse is build according the principles of the Active House and designed by Hein Troy Architekten, they won the competition between 9 upcoming architects from Austria.
An Active House should contribute to a healty and comfortable life for their inhabitants without a negative impact on the climate and the environment.

More about beautiful projects like these, you can find on the VELUX UK website.

new project by April and May

24.1.13

We are so happy to show some pictures (made with I-phone) of our latest project. We made a concept and interior design for a meeting room and yesterday all the furniture pieces were delivered and installed.
Some great design pieces by Muuto, Hay, Kartell, Riva, David Trubridge and Christien Meindertsma. They work beautiful together in this room.

In a while we will completely finish this room and make some better shots to show you.

We hope you like it as much as we do :)

Beautiful architecture in Landskrona, Sweden by architect Elding Oscarson. I love how the nature integrates in this city-home. The subtile colors make it a beautiful fresh spring home.

Hotel Paradis Paris

21.1.13

Seeing and reading all the news from the people who are in Paris right now to visit Maison & Objet made me think about some Paris inspiration. Hotel Paradis Paris is a gorgeous boutique hotel in the heart of Paris.
A beautiful combination of vintage and modern items with a very warm feeling. Through the whole hotel you will find great hand painted wallpaper.

I really love the vibe of this hotel with some great furniture pieces. During my next visit to Paris this will certainly be on my must-see list.
